“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

I was recently reading a passage in “My utmost for His Highest” and a statement in that passage really stood out to me.
While this is true, it really made me wonder if it is truly possible to be 100% faithful? I believe it is.
There are times circumstances will test our faith and we question God and what we are going through. We have all been there. I was there in 2022. In fact, if I think back I think I can honestly say there has been something every single year that has tested my faith. Whether that be a list of a loved one, divorce, or even just my attitude towards what work God has me doing right now.
Some out there don’t necessarily have circumstances that are so horrific they question God. Some just have jobs that they don’t necessarily care for and wonder if there is more for their life. I am here to tell you, there is. Listen to Him daily and believe me He will make that call on your life. That doesn’t mean He will call you away from what you are doing (He may and that is a whole new level of terror) but what He will do is show you how what you are doing is for Him and furthering His kingdom. Not all Kingdom work is being a part of an organized ministry
But I digress. This post is about a test of faithfulness. See as of lately things have been going well. 2022 was a rough year. We lost the kids mom in an unfortunate accident. It was very tragic as most accidents are. But after the dust had settled God began to speak. See in times of turmoil it is hard to hear Him sometimes but you have to try and seek day after day. He started to move pieces. Pieces that I never saw Him moving. Moving things in different directions down different avenues for His Kingdom.
See, since this time of His calling, things have, I wouldn’t say gotten easier, but they have for sure gotten clearer. I have questioned what He has laid before me over and over again. Each time leading me right back to what He has called. Just recently somebody did a very generous thing for me. I have no idea who or why but when the generosity showed up at my door I didn’t know what to think. I questioned it with fidelity. Asked my parents if it was them, nope. My mom finally had to just say to me “Take this as somebody wants to bless you”. So that’s what I will do. Take the blessing and remain faithful to His promises.
