We were never designed to be alone. God said that “it’s not good for man to be alone” in Genesis 2. Right out of the gate of time this life was not to be in isolation.
Through this implicit design, it’s important to remember this each day that we need one another to encourage each other along. This life is so filled with so many distractions to guide us off our paths.
As I read this verse, it reminds me of how important it is to band together and not just people of your age group. It’s important that all ages can learn from other ages. Often times we think the youth needs to learn from the elderly but in fact the elderly can learn from the youth.
Todays youth have not grown up with landline telephones. They only know cell phones and the internet. Both of these generations can learn from one another.
